GN Drilling Mud Recycling System Ready for Shipment to Domestic Client

There is one set of drilling mud recycling system is under final assembling in GN Company‘s work plant, and would be ready for shipment soon.

This Drilling Mud Recycling System mainly includes equipment as follow,
Shale Shaker,
De-sander,

Pump, Pipeline, Accessories, etc.

The shale shaker is used to remove coarse solids, with size more than 100um.
The Desander is used to remove solids, with size 45~70um.

Working Procedure as below,
Feeding Drilling Mud to Shale Shaker through Mud Logging Tank, solids with size bigger than 100um would be shake out.
The drilling fluid passing through shaker screen would be pumped to Desander by Submersible Slurry Pump, solids with size 45~70um would be shake out.

The client also ordered one set of Jet Mud Mixer, including Mud Hopper, Mud Mixing Pump (centrifugal pump), for mixing the drilling fluid with chemical products, in order to improve its working performance.

GN Supplied Solids Control System for Chinese Client’s Drilling Project

There is one Complete Solids Control System for Drilling Rig is under final assembling in GN’s work plant, and would be shipped to client’s work site soon.

The system includes 4 modules as below,

  1. Two Units of Shale Shaker (removing solids with size more than 100um)
  2. One Unit of De-sander (removing solids with size more than 45~70um)
  3. One Unit of De-silter (removing solids with size more than 20~45um)
  4. One Unit of Decanter Centrifuge (removing solids with size less than 20um)

2019.09.18 Mud Circulation System

Drilling Fluid Solids Control System Working Procedure as below,

The drilling mud firstly pumped to the Mud Gas Separator, if the drilling fluid has Toxic flammable gas, for removing the toxic gas.

Secondly, The drilling mud would be pumped to shale shaker, for removing coarse particle, with size more than 100um.

The liquid and fine solids would pass the shaker screen, and flow into storage tank under the shale shaker.

Thirdly, the drilling fluid would be pumped to Vacuum Degasser, for removing air from drilling fluid, in order to increase separation efficency for equipment after.

Then the drilling fluid would be pumped to Sand Removal Cyclone, for removing solids 45~70um, then Desilting Cyclone, for removing solids 20~45um.

The drilling fluid is clean after treated by Mud Cleaner, and if the project is necessary to remove fine solids, less than 20um, the drilling fluid can be pumped to Decanter Centrifuge for further solid separation.

Two Sets Construction Slurry Dewatering System for American Client

GN Company prepared the final package for 2 sets of Construction Slurry Dewatering System for an American client. This system is used to separate Solid Liquid, and recover clean water for reuse or suitable for discharging. The system includes 4 modules as below,
  1. Waste Collecting and Washing Module
  2. Screening Module
  3. Desilter Module
  4. Centrifuge Module
Detailed Explanation as below,
  1. Waste Collecting and Washing Module The waste slurry would be discharged onto a coarse screen for large size trash separation. The liquid with fine particles is collected in the tank under the coarse screen.
  2. Screen Module The liquid is pumped to Mine Shaker, to remove coarse particles. Then the liquid would be pumped to GN Shale Shaker for removing fine solids, with particle size about 100 um.
  3. Desilter Module GN desilter with hydro cyclone manifold is fixed on a washing tank for further separation of the fine solids, with particle size about 20~45 um. The under shaker of the desilter is same model with GN drying shaker for easy maintenance. The hydrocyclone is using centrifugal force and gravity to separate the liquid and solids. The slurry is pumped into the cyclone with high speed for effectively separation process.
  4. Centrifuge Module A decanter centrifuge would be used to remove the ultra-fine solids in the slurry, with particle size about 10 um. The liquid discharged from decanter can be reused for this system. A chemical dosing system can be used to help decanter centrifuge to increase efficiency of separation.

GN Oil Sludge Treatment System for China Oilfield

There is one company from Asia purchasing a complete set of Oil Sludge Treatment System, with Model GNOST-50A, capacity 5m3/h, from GN Company. The system can be used for Oil Sludge Treatment, which from Refinery Plant, Oil Tank, Drilling Project, etc. GN Oil Sludge Treatment System can reach the achievement of discharging Oil, Water, and Solid separately, and result as follow, Solid & Water Content in Oil less than 3%, Oil Content in Solid less than 2%, Oil Content in Water is about 500~1000 PPM. And we can supply Micro bubble Water Processor, which can lower oil content in water to 50~100 PPM.
The system include 5 Modules as below,
  1. Vacuum Transferring Pump Module Transferring Oil sludge into our system by sludge Pump
  2. Pre-mixing and Heating Module Mixing oil sludge with water and chemical, for making Solids Content less than 20%, which is easier for procedure.
  3. Screening Shaker Module Removing large particle of solids (about 100um) by Shale Shaker
  4. Centrifuge Separation Module Firstly separating fine solids (less than 10um) from liquid by Decanter Centrifuge (2 phase separation) Secondly separating Oil, Water and little ultra-fine Solid by Disc Centrifuge (3 phase separation) (Both decanter centrifuge and Disc centrifuge works based on Centrifugal Force, and Disc centrifuge works at a much higher speed, which means bigger Centrifugal Force than Decanter Centrifuge, so that oil and water can be separated)

GN Supplied Mud Recycling Plants for Asian Client’s Piling Project

Recently GN Company finished production for 8 sets of Mud Recycling Plants, and would arrange final delivery to client’s work site.

GN Mud Recycling Plant is widely used for Bored Piling, TBM, HDD (trenchless), and water well drilling etc., with working capability ranges from 50~3000m3/h.

The Mud Recycling Plant mainly includes Double Mud Shaker, Desander/Desilter, and Centrifugal Pump.
Mud Shaker is used to remove big size of Solids from the Slurry.
Desander/Desilter is used to recollecting Mud for reuse.
Centrifugal Pump is used to pump slurry to Mud Shaker.

GN Mud Recycling Plant Working Procedure as below,

  1. Feeding mud to Shale Shaker from the mud pit. The mud would be feed onto the bottom layer screen of shale shaker (3) through buffer box(2), then the coarse particles would be separated out, while the mud would flow to mud storage tank (4) through the bottom layer screen of shale shaker(3).
  2. The centrifugal pump (5) sucks mud from the mud storage tank (4), and feeds to desander/desilter cone (6) with pressure used for centrifugal separation, the solids/sand would be discharged onto the upper shaker (3) from the outlet nipple of the desander/desilter cone, and fine solid would be separated out. (The screens of Upper and bottom would be different, and the Upper screen’s mesh would be higher)
  3. The mud passed the upper shaker screen would return back to mud storage tank (4), while the clean mud would enter into intermediary tank (7) through desander/desilter cone overflow pipe. The mud in the intermediary tank (7) would go out through outlet pipe (9) or go back to mud storage tank (4) depends on the fluid level in the recycling tank.
  4. In the mud circulation process, there is a fluids level float switch (8) between intermediary tank (7) and mud storage tank (4), it can balance the fluids level in the mud storage tank (4). When mud level is low in the mud storage tank (4), the overflow from the desander would enter into mud storage tank (4) through the intermediary tank (7). When the mud level is too high in the mud storage tank (4), the mud would overflow to the intermediary tank (7) and go out from the outlet pipe (9).
