Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Dehydration/Dewater/Dewatering

Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Treatment is always a big headache because of the strict environment policy, and the factories would also prefer to recover the Aluminium hydroxide, which separated and recollected from the slurry, in order to save cost.

It always takes long time to apply the approach of Natural Settlement, and also the clients request that the concentration to be 60%~80%, and the the alumina (Aluminum Hydroxide) slurry has a concentration of only 8% to 10%. The Aluminum Hydroxide Slurry Treatment contains water and Sodium Nitrate.

GN Solids Control offers an Economy and Convenient approach for Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Dehydration/Dewater/Dewatering, it is Decanter Centrifuge.

The Procedure shown as above pictures, the slurry are feed into Decanter Centrifuge, where solid and liquid would be separated, and the Clean water and Dry Solid would be discharged from different port.

The Solids Discharge Port is made of Tungsten Carbide Insert, which it is anti-abrasion, and it would extend the working hours.

Hydro Excavation Waste Slurry Treatment

What is Hydro Excavation?

Hydro Excavation is now popular in North America for excavating soil by High Pressurized Water. Then an air conveyance or vacuum is used to transfer the mixture of water, soil, large size trash and some other materials into a debris tank. This Hydro Excavation allows for a non-destructive to excavate soil and locate underground utilities.

How to deal with the Hydro Excavation Waste Slurry Treatment?

GN Solids Control provides One Stop, Turn Key Solution to recover water and discharge the soil suitable for environment. The process diagram is as below.

1. Waste Collecting and Washing Module – the waste slurry is delivered to site via the hydro truck and then discharged to a large size collecting hopper at which bottom there are valves to discharge the slurry onto a coarse screen for large size trash separation.

The liquid with fine particles is collected in the tank located under the coarse screen. The liquid is then pumped to GN high G force drying shaker for finer solids separation. Here the operator can also use pressure flushing device to wash the slurry. GN shaker is fixed with composite frame shaker screen for longer working time and better performance.

2. Fine Solids Hydro cycling Separation Module – GN desilter with hydro cyclone manifold is fixed on a washing tank for further separation of the fine solids. The under shaker of the desilter is same model with GN drying shaker for easy maintenance. The hydro cyclone is using centrifugal force and gravity to separate the liquid and solids. The slurry is pumped into the cyclone with high speed for effectively separation process.

3. Dewatering Centrifuge Module – in this hydro excavation waste slurry treatment system, a decanter centrifuge (bowl diameter is 9 inch, 220mm) is used to remove the ultra-fine solids in the slurry. A chemical dosing system can be connected to the dewatering centrifuge to increase the efficiency of the separation.

Oil Sludge Cleaned and Recycle

The Oil Sludge from the Crude Oil Tank, Refinery Plant, or Drilling Waste is always a big headache for the operators, while it is economy to recycle the oil contained, and the solid shall be discharged suitable for environment.

The treatment for oil sludge cannot be achieved with just one or two equipment, it shall be a system.

Today we shall introduce a Reliable and Economy Oil Sludge System from GN Solids Company.

Oil sludge is a mixture consisted of oil water and solids.

To treat the waste oil sludge and recovery oil and water, the oil, water and solids must be separated. And also it is important to dispose of the solids inexpensively and recover oil as much as possible. GN decanter centrifuge and oil water separator and thermal desorption unit is to do the job.

 

Brief Introduction about Working Procedure,

Firstly, the Oil Sludge pumped into the Pre-Mixing Tank for heating and mixing with chemical material.

Secondly, the sludge feed into the shale shaker for removing the big solid.

Thirdly, the sludge feed into the decanter centrifuge for removing the find solid.

Fourthly, the sludge feed into 3 Phase Separation Module, including Inclined Plate Separator, Oil Water Separator.

Fifthly, the collect the clean water and oil separately, and the Solid would be discharged separately too.

The recycled water can be reused in the washing process, and the oil is clean enough to sell to the refinery company, the solids contain oil between 2%-5% which can be sent to biodegradation or thermal unit for final disposal.

DAF Sludge Dewatering and Soild Separation

An South American Waste Treatment Service company sent information to us, GN Solids Control,  and looked for the exact solution for the DAF Sludge Treatment.

DAF, the full name is Dissolved air flotation, which can be widely used in sewage treatment, in the fields of industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas drilling, and marine waste water treatment.

DAF systems inject micro bubbles into the waste steam which attach to the solids and float them to the surface where they are skimmed off. However one of the more common issues with a DAF system is the mess associated and disposal cost and with handling the skimmed off waste solids.

Attention, the Solids Content of the feed material shall be 3% maximum.
