Decanter Centrifuge for Oil Sludge Treatment to Brunei

There is one set of Oil Sludge Treatment System ready for shipment to client’s job site in Brunei. GN Company’s Oil Sludge Treatment System can be widely used for Oil Sludge Treatment & Oil Recovering for refinery plant, drilling site, oil tank, ship waste, etc.

The result after treatment by our system is as follow,
Oil content in Solid, less than 2%
Oil content in Water, 500~1000 ppm
Sediment & Water content in Oil, less than 3%

2020.03.12 Decanter Centrifuge for Oil Sludge Treatment

The main equipment in the system includes 2 Phase Decanter Centrifuge, Shaker, 3 Phase Disc Separator.

Shaker is used to separate out coarse particle, with solids size more than 100um. And the liquid passing the mesh of shaker would be pumped to Decanter Centrifuge.
Decanter Centrifuge is used for solid liquid separation, for separating out the solids with size 2~10um. And the liquid would be pumped to Disc Separator for further treatment.
Disc Separator is used for Oil, Water, and little fine Solid separation.

If the client would like to decrease the oil content in water, GN Company suggests Micro bubble Water Processor, which can decrease the oil content in water to 50~100ppm.
If the client would like to reduce the oil content in solids, GN Company suggests our Thermal Desorption Unit, please contact GN Sales Managers for detailed specifications.

Overview about Centrifuge’s Applications and Selection

Compared with other separation equipment, Centrifuge can be used not only to get low moisture solid phase and high purity liquid phase, but also it has advantages of small footprint, good sealing, continuous operation, and automatic remote control, etc. So Centrifuge is widely used in chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refining, medicine, food, textile, metallurgy, coal, shipbuilding, environmental protection, military industry, and others. There are different processing requirement in the production process, including Dehydration, Clarification, Concentration, Classification, and Separation. The essence of Dehydration and Clarification is to separate solids and liquid in the suspension, Dehydration is to remove liquid phase from solid phase, and Clarification is to remove solid phase from liquid. Concentration is to increase the content of solid phase in the solid-liquid mixture. Classification is the separation of particles of different size in the suspension. Separation generally refers to the separation of two mutually incompatible liquid phases.

GN Company Developed New Market for Decanter Centrifuge

GN Company Technical Engineers developed new Technology for Decanter Centrifuge, including dewatering, separation, and clarifying.

Dewatering Decanter Centrifuge is mainly used for dewatering of municipal and industrial wastewater sludge. It is designed for easy separation material, such as coarse particle size, high density difference of solid and liquid, low viscosity, high concentration. And its main application is for drilling mud, ETP, WWTP, oily sludge, cutting fluid, etc.

Separation Decanter Centrifuge has beach angle of 15 degree, it is designed both for clarity of liquid phase after separation, also for the dryness of solids phase. The decanter centrifuge is especially suitable for find soft material separation, which is difficult to separate. This decanter centrifuge is suitable for small particles, small density difference of solid and liquid, large viscosity and small concentration. And its main application is for soybean milk, plant starch recovery, fermentation liquid, baths, etc.

Clarifying Decanter Centrifuge, with beach angle of 20 degree, suits for small particle size, low density difference between solids and liquid, moderate viscosity, moderate concentration. And its main application material is for Edible Oil, Pectin, Plant Protein, Animal Protein, Starch, Juice, etc.

Besides Decanter Centrifuge, GN Company also manufactures and supplies Chemical Dosing Unit and Progressive Cavity Pump. Simple mechanical separation can only be used to separate particles of 2~ 5 microns and Chemical Dosing Unit working together with high speed Decanter Centrifuge can separate the fine solids less than 2 microns.

Olive Oil Production and Processing Description

GN Company is a professional manufacturer of Decanter & Separator, widely used for Solid Liquid Separation, Slurry Clarification, and Sludge Dewatering in different industries, including Olive Oil Production and Processing.

Please find description about Olive Oil production as follow, and what Decanter & Separator can be used for.

1. Firstly removing leaves from Olive fruits, and cleaning the fruit.
2. Secondly crushing the fruit, grinding, and making the Olive Oil out.
3. Feeding the mixture into Decanter Centrifuge by Progressive Cavity Pump, for solid liquid separation.
4. Feeding the light phase (liquid outlet from Decanter) into Disc Separator, for oil, water and little solid separation.
5. If the Oliver Fruit is high quality, the Olive Oil from Disc Separator is Edible.
If the Oliver Fruit is not low quality, it is necessary to refine the Olive Oil from Disc Separator, for high purification and Edible.
6. The heavy phase from Decanter Centrifuge and Disc Separator would be dry, stocked, and can be used for Energy.
