mud recovery system

GN Solids Control is an industry-leading manufacturer of solid state control equipment, established in Tangshan, China in 2007. Since then we have focused on quality and performance. After 11 years of hard work and network construction, we have become a very important player in the global industrial/oil and gas market.

Let us take a look at our mud drilling system today. It includes: 223 decanter centrifuge, 752 mud vibrating screen and other solids removal devices. The GN 223 Settling Centrifuge is designed for the diamond drilling industry. Here are some notable specifications for our 223 Centrifuge: The rotating bowl is made of duplex stainless steel – SS304. The discharge port is protected by a special ceramic blade for longer service life and better protection. The adjustable outlet makes the pond depth adjustment easier and faster. Pneumatically controlled springs will make the opening of the cover easier and safer. The bowl lift bracket can be used as a bearing for SKF production during transportation. The conveyor surface is made of tungsten carbide bricks for durability and ease of maintenance. Electrical components are from SIEMENS or SCHNEIDER. The GN 752 Mud Vibrating Screen is also produced for the diamond industry. The vibration mode is linear and the processing capacity is 200GPM. Adjustable G force up to 7.1G. The vibrator is manufactured by OLI or MARTIN and is ATEX, UL or IEC certified. Two screens are installed on the vibrating screen, which are pre-tensioned and of high quality. Electrical components are also made by SIEMENS or SCHNEIDER. By installing a hydrocyclone on the shale shaker, it can be adjusted to a slurry cleaner that separates the smaller solids to 20 microns.

mud recovery system

Since its inception in 2006, GN has sold its solids control equipment and mud recovery systems to more than 60 countries. GN’s mud recovery system can be used in many applications such as oil and gas drilling, diamond drilling, hard drive, tunnelling, piling, dredging and more. Today we will discuss an application of a mud recovery system based on a case study: a project in London.

Just two years ago, GN Solids Control sold a mud recovery system to UK customers for civil engineering. The system consists of a two-layer mud shaker and a decanter centrifuge. Mud vibrating screens are used for coarse separation to eliminate large solids. The screen API number on the upper deck will be smaller than the lower deck, which means that the lower deck screen can separate finer solids than the upper deck screen. The treated fluid will then fall into the tank and then pumped through a screw pump to a decanter centrifuge for further separation. A decanter centrifuge can separate solids to 20 microns. The centrifuge is rugged and requires less maintenance during normal operation. The bowl is made of 2205 stainless steel duplex, the bearing is made by the world famous SKF, and the screw conveyor and discharge port are protected by tungsten carbide brick. The spring also protects the decanter centrifuge during transport. After this separation, the mud can be returned to the system for reuse again. This will be very environmentally friendly and cost effective. GN can customize the mud recovery system according to the different requirements of customers to provide customers with the best solution.  This is a basic introduction to the mud recovery system. GN`s new product——the GNLW363D-FHD decanter centrifuge

GN Solids Control is a comprehensive company specializing in the manufacture of solid state control equipment and systems. Since its inception in 2007, it has always focused on quality and reliability, and how to help customers save more money. Among all solid-state control devices, three-star products have proven to be more rugged and reliable: mud shakers, decanter centrifuges and cutting dryers.

Recently, GN released its new product, the GNLW363D-FHD decanter centrifuge. First, let us know what the name of the product is. GN stands for company name and LW says it is a horizontal spiral product. 363 indicates that the bowl has a diameter of 360 mm, which is equivalent to 14 inches. 3 indicates that the length of the bowl is about 3 times the diameter. This ratio is specifically designed by the technician to ensure good performance at work. D represents the 4th generation decanter centrifuge. FHD means full hydraulic drive. All configurations are of a high standard to meet the requirements of most customers. The bowl is made of double layer SS 2205 / SS 2304, and the screw conveyor material is SS 304 / SS. Made of 315, the surface is protected by tungsten carbide bricks, which is more durable and more reliable, which saves customers’ money and saves customers’ expenses. In operation and maintenance. And the solid steel discharge port also uses a tungsten carbide insert. The bearings still use the world famous SKF. The FHD system is a VISCOTHERM fully hydraulic drive. The electrical control system is intelligent PLC control. The coating used Cosco & Kansai Zinc Rich Epoxy Coating. The device can be used in extremely high temperature environments where the mud is heavier. The decanter is designed and assembled on the slide for easy movement, saving transportation time and cost.
