A Middle East client ordered some Fully Hydraulic Driven (FHD) Decanter Centrifuges from GN Company, with centrifuge feeding pump.

Fully Hydraulic Driven Centrifuge is driven by Hydraulic Pump with two units of hydraulic oil circuits, one for Bowl drive system, one for Scroll drive system.

GN Company can manufacture and supply FHD centrifuge with bowl diameter from 9 ~30 inch, and provide professional Centrifuge Feeding Pump with 10~90 m3/h, 4~22 Kw.

Decanter Centrifuge

GN worked together with the reputable centrifuge hydraulic driving system manufacturer from Switzerland for developing this fully hydraulic system, in order to reach the requirement for high standard from the international market and the high-class market in China.

Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Dehydration/Dewater/Dewatering

Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Treatment is always a big headache because of the strict environment policy, and the factories would also prefer to recover the Aluminium hydroxide, which separated and recollected from the slurry, in order to save cost.

It always takes long time to apply the approach of Natural Settlement, and also the clients request that the concentration to be 60%~80%, and the the alumina (Aluminum Hydroxide) slurry has a concentration of only 8% to 10%. The Aluminum Hydroxide Slurry Treatment contains water and Sodium Nitrate.

GN Solids Control offers an Economy and Convenient approach for Aluminium Hydroxide Slurry Dehydration/Dewater/Dewatering, it is Decanter Centrifuge.

The Procedure shown as above pictures, the slurry are feed into Decanter Centrifuge, where solid and liquid would be separated, and the Clean water and Dry Solid would be discharged from different port.

The Solids Discharge Port is made of Tungsten Carbide Insert, which it is anti-abrasion, and it would extend the working hours.

Dredging Slurry/Material Treatment

Dredging Material Treatment is always a big problem for local governments, especially for De-watering the material.

GN Solids Control can supply One Stop, Turnkey Solution for Dredging Material Treatment.

Last week, GN 1000 GPM dredging slurry separation system was delivered to work site for customer’s project starting celebration. It is the first unit standard configuration system for dredging slurry separation which showed that GN has made herself getting into a further level for river and lake sludge cleaning up.

Main Equipments for 1000GPM Dredging Slurry Separation System,

Working Procedure,
The Dredging Slurry firstly go through the shale shakers, in order to remove the solids with more than 100 um. The slurry after the Shale Shaker Treatment would go through the De-Sander, in order to remove the the solids between 45~70 um. There are independent mud tanks under the shale shaker and De-sander, for collecting the liquid separately passing from the shale shaker and De-sander.

The two sand pumps are used for feeding material into the Shake Shaker and De-sander Separately.

GN also develops Decanter Centrifuge for removing fine solids (up to 5um) from liquid, and removing all the Solids from Liquid, with Polymer Dosing System.

Hydro Excavation Waste Slurry Treatment

What is Hydro Excavation?

Hydro Excavation is now popular in North America for excavating soil by High Pressurized Water. Then an air conveyance or vacuum is used to transfer the mixture of water, soil, large size trash and some other materials into a debris tank. This Hydro Excavation allows for a non-destructive to excavate soil and locate underground utilities.

How to deal with the Hydro Excavation Waste Slurry Treatment?

GN Solids Control provides One Stop, Turn Key Solution to recover water and discharge the soil suitable for environment. The process diagram is as below.

1. Waste Collecting and Washing Module – the waste slurry is delivered to site via the hydro truck and then discharged to a large size collecting hopper at which bottom there are valves to discharge the slurry onto a coarse screen for large size trash separation.

The liquid with fine particles is collected in the tank located under the coarse screen. The liquid is then pumped to GN high G force drying shaker for finer solids separation. Here the operator can also use pressure flushing device to wash the slurry. GN shaker is fixed with composite frame shaker screen for longer working time and better performance.

2. Fine Solids Hydro cycling Separation Module – GN desilter with hydro cyclone manifold is fixed on a washing tank for further separation of the fine solids. The under shaker of the desilter is same model with GN drying shaker for easy maintenance. The hydro cyclone is using centrifugal force and gravity to separate the liquid and solids. The slurry is pumped into the cyclone with high speed for effectively separation process.

3. Dewatering Centrifuge Module – in this hydro excavation waste slurry treatment system, a decanter centrifuge (bowl diameter is 9 inch, 220mm) is used to remove the ultra-fine solids in the slurry. A chemical dosing system can be connected to the dewatering centrifuge to increase the efficiency of the separation.
