GN DRILLING CUTTINGS WASTE MANAGEMENT EQUIPMENT

Ever since year 2013 when GN Solids Control firstly designed and put into reality the GNCD930 series cuttings dryer, GN has designed 2 kinds of drilling cuttings treating system, both combined by following equipment:
1. GNCD930 vertical cuttings dryer. It is like a drying step of a washing machine, by high speed vertical drying, the liquid phase, drilling fluid passes the mesh of the cone sized basket, while the solids phase, the cuttings, fall down to the discharge port. After treatment of GNCD930, the OCC could be less than 5%. And according to different cuttings condition, GN gives 3 optional mesh opening sizes. Clients could prepare all of the three for different conditions.
GNCD930 Vertical cuttings dryers are firstly designed for the OBM and SBM, but per some clients’ feedback, it could be useful for some water based mud, too.

2. After the GNCD930 vertical cuttings dryer, the drilling cuttings are collected while the drilling fluid falls into a container and to be pumped to next step, the GNLW363 series decanter centrifuges. GNLW363 series decanter centrifuges are the super star among GN centrifuge models. In every 10 sets of GN Centrifuges, 7 are GNLW363 decanter centrifuges. It has the medium size and more optional control panels for option. In solids control system, clients always choose fixed speed GNLW363, while in drilling cuttings waste management or drilling fluid treatment project, the VFD model with PLC control panels are more popular. In some none explosive conditions, clients could choose the more economic model, while in some countries and regions when IECEX or ATEX is a must, GN also have those models for option.

3. GNSC series screw conveyors. By providing screw conveyors of different diameters and length, GN has 12 models for option. Clients could choose per the transporting capacity and distance to be transported.

Shale shakers of 9 sets: GNZS594E Shale shaker, linear motional shaker screens with 4 pieces composite material shaker screens. The screen area could reach 2.73 square meters
1. Mud cleaners of GNZJ594E-3S16N, with 3 of 10 inch desander cones and 16 of 4 inch desilter cones. For each solids control system, there are one set of mud cleaner.
GNZJ594E series mud cleaners share same shaker with GNZS594E shale shakers, with interchangeable spare parts for shaker parts and shaker screens.
GNLW decanter centrifuges of 6 sets. Decanter centrifuges are GN core products, and GNLW series decanter centrifuges’ sizes range from 9 inch to up to 30 inch. Big bowl middle speed decanter centrifuge GNLW452 are widely used for barite recovery of solids control systems and high speed centrifuges are used for waste management systems for the extra fine particles remove.
Centrifugal pumps, GNSB series centrifugal pumps are used for feeding the desander and desilter cones, and also for the mixing hoppers’ feeding.

The way to select Right Model on Mud Agitator and Use it properly

Mud Agitator is one of the solids control equipments that are mainly used for you to mixing the drilling body fluids in the mud tanks to hold the solids inside the drilling fluids suspending other than sedimentation down to the tank bottom level.
GN’s sales team ever gotten many inquiries on the mud agitators; unfortunately, most of the buyers have no idea on how to choose the right product suchs mud agitator, shale shker, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge, etc. for their project and even seldom know how to use the equipment adequately to ensure a longer life time. GN’s sales are good at comprehension clients’ specific request simply by asking few simple concerns. With the answer from the buyers, GN always could provide the best proposal for clientele. GN advise the RPM setting on the mud agitator between 40-96, too high will disturb the actual solids suspending, while lacking will lead to solids sedimentation.

1) Leak proof skips and waste oil aquariums (i. e., offshore mobile tanks) for the collection of
NAF drilled cuttings and other NAF rig wastes at THE CLEINT’s drilling rigs.
2) Pier access for PSVs supplied by THE CLEINT.
3) Dockside services (i. e., employees, cranes, and forklifts) intended for loading / offloading skips/waste oil tanks from the PSVs and loading the skips and / or waste oil fish tanks on trucks.
4) Passenger trucks for hauling the skips and / or waste oil storage containers to and from the treatment center and within the treatment facility and with hauling treated residue in the treatment facility to the landfill.
5) Treatment facility for the thermal digesting of NAF drilled cuttings and other NAF rig toxins, including any containers essential for transporting the treated silt to the landfill. Treatment facility should certainly have sufficient space to support filled skips and shop empty skips until indexed by THE CLEINT. Treatment facility should certainly have capability to recover, retail store and transport base essential oil from treated cuttings for the dock
6) Hazardous waste materials landfill for treated deposit disposal.
